Like its designer, Le Maître de Mont-Tremblant - a Fred Couples Signature Design - in Quebec's Laurentian Mountains is very popular. Bordering the picturesque Rivière du Diable, the par-72 course opened May 31, 2001, as a ClubLink Platinum Member Club with access for guests of affiliated resorts. Le Maître spectacularly tumbles over 260 acres of scenic riverfront that includes dramatic elevation changes, glorious scenic vistas, dense forests and pristine waterways. It also features a state-of-the-art practice facility with target greens, a 13,000-square foot clubhouse, two exterior tennis courts and a swimming pool. Fred Couples, a winner of 14 PGA Tour events including the 1992 Masters, worked with Gene Bates of Couples Bates Golf Design in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Cooke-Huxham International Golf Course Architects in Montreal.
